Undiluted underground sounds are the way we roll with back-to-back clashes between B-Line and Bassline legends, Movement and Epic, now the club dons Stance and Bassline Business and Electro in the new oxygen room.
BASHING out badass, shaking bassline music has been The Boilerhouse’s mission over the last five years. The resident DJ’s have used their sets at the club to grab at everything from sleazy bass-driven garage, bumpin' speed garage, classic rollers, 4x4 rumbles and anything else with a bottom end that, er, goes straight to your bottom end.
As old skool ravers, rude boys and students alike all flocked, The Boilerhouse rose into a cult underground phenomenon and announced Phat Fingerz as one of the few genuinely exciting DJs to emerge from West Yorkshire.
Joining Phat Fingerz is Bradford sibling mixing machines The Rhodes Brothers aka DJ AJ and DJ Fuzz while Matty B and Steve Kelly layer hard-hitting bassline badness.
Ok, we were also famous for a faintly ludicrous, nay ridiculous, marketing campaign Phat Fingerz and the Bassline Factory and much talk of the mystical 'golden ticket', but you’ll forgive 'us for that… the music did the talking.
Again, there's talk of a "stage set-up that allows all of the The Boilerhouse artists to play at other Bradford venues" blurring the lines between DJs and allowing them to "become 'as one". Fuck knows what difference that makes when you're havin' it right off at the front and lost in a chemical abyss, but this is the only The Boilerhouse party. Which makes it pretty much unmissable for true bassheads.
