Summer Dawns...

Well thats April out with a bang! Its always a bit of a drag in the clubbing world after Easter, everyone has a blow out over the bank holiday and then rapidly skints themselves and can't afford to come out again till they get paid again at the end of the month. But as Saturday night proved, when they come out they know how to have a party - the Wideboys ft. JLC last night blew the club to bits and a top night was had by all!

So what's coming up next? Well, an awful lot is in the works at the moment so lets go in order. First up we have our new Friday Night Promotion. We know the credit crunch and general downtown in the economy and prices going up everywhere has hit everyone in the pocket so we've decided to buck that trend! Starting this week Fridays are £5 in with £1 for Shots of Sambuca, £1 for Cocktails, £1.50 for Bottled Beers and £2 for All Flavours of VK and Red Stripe!

As well as making Friday nights easy on your pocket we're also putting on some top drawer entertainment. This Friday see's Danny Bond live at the club for the very first time along with MC Tom Zanetti. Friday 23rd May see's the second installment of 4x4 Fridays with Niche legend Nev Wright and local specialists Racky and Matty B - a night with a bit of edge, great atmosphere and music so dark that you'll need night vision to hear it! On top of that we have Friday Resident Sean Coy giving us the best in upfront bassline house on Friday the 9th and Friday the 16th and the huge local underground night 'Avin It finds its new home at Lingards on Friday the 30th of May.

May also has two bank holidays and we're on them as usual! The first one is this weekend and see's a plethora of DJs along with a rather special set from Phat Fingerz and one of the up and coming new DJs - Phats will drop a Boilerhouse classic for every upfront banger dropped by the new pretender!

On top of that we have the usual Saturday madness at the best Saturday night in town and Saturday the 31st of May sees ladies favorite Danny Wynn back behind the decks. This time Danny is bringing his partners in crime with him - Will Smith will be on the decks as well and Youngman will be performing a selection of his massive tracks (Bounce, We Call it Bassline etc.) and also doing a live MC set!

We're also launching our first DJ competition for 2 years. This time there are a few twists. The competition will be run in Ascension on the Funktion One system and entrants will play more than once, want to enter, want to know more? Click here to find out all the details

And then in June, something a bit different will be happening on Friday the 13th. The biggest brand in dance music is coming home to the place where it all started in Bradford... more details very soon but this night is going to be huge!
